Glossary Module

After it is installed, this module will create a list named DNNToolkit Glossary Category under the List of DNN system, and also automatically set up two pieces of Entry record (Payroll & Tax) under the List so that it is more convenient and easier for the administrator to manage and sort these categories.

The Glossary module mainly deals with interpretation work for some system special glossary. These information can be divided into different Categories as well for the sake of searching convenience.

Usage

After the module is put on the page layout, the end user can search the FAQ data by selecting a certain category, or inputting key word for special category, or choosing the specified initial. The Glossary data list will be presented, which includes the Term and relevant Definition information. If the end user has the permission of edit, this list will include the relative edit link of the record Edit Glossary.

If the end user has the permission of edit, he can add records by the Add Glossary link, or handle edit operation on relevant records by clicking the Edit Glossary link mentioned above.

When clicking the link of Add Glossary, there comes the page layout of Edit Nova Glossary, showing the permission of inputting Term, TextBox of the Definition information, and the Checkbox of related Category information. Every piece of Glossary record here can pertain to several Categories.

Similar with the other modules, we can add additional information to the Header Template and Footer Template part of the FAQ module by setting page layouts. The default value of templates is empty.
